A highly deep coloured solid, natural black pin fire Opal from Lightning Ridge, Australia.
A beautiful Opal which has been hand cut and finished by ourselves. We have electroformed it with recycled copper and set on a handmade sterling silver ring band.
The copper has been sealed to help keep its shiny rose gold copper finish. It may eventually darken slightly over time but to help protect this process you can coat with a little coat of nail polish.
The Opal is a very deep indigo blue/black with a purple/green pin fire across the stone, visible under certain lights and sunlight- where it ignites. ( this has been difficult to capture in photos).
It measures approximately 1cm x 0.8 cms at its widest points.
It is a larger size ring, UK ring size Q 1/2, US ring size 8 1/4
